Asbestos & Hazardous Materials (SMF, PCB, Lead (Pb) & ODS) Surveys
NDL Hazmat specialise in providing comprehensive asbestos and hazardous material auditing services across Australia. Our goal is to ensure safety, compliance, and peace of mind for property owners, managers, and contractors. Including Utilising NATA accredited laboratories where required for analysis of suspected asbestos-containing and/or other hazardous materials
Pre-Demolition Surveys
A pre-demolition asbestos survey is a fully intrusive, destructive inspection required by law before a structure is demolished or heavily renovated. Its purpose is to identify, sample, and locate all Asbestos-Containing Materials (ACMs)—both visible and hidden—so they can be safely removed to protect workers and the environment.
Clearance Inspections
Once asbestos removal works are completed, a visual clearance certificate is issued to confirm the site is free of any visible asbestos. Most state and territory workplace health and safety regulations require this certificate whenever the total amount of asbestos removed goes beyond 10 square metres.

Trent Upton
Director & Principal Consultant (LAA Licence# 532017 TAS)
Trent has over 16 years’ experience in the asbestos industry in a multitude of disciplines including surveying and management of asbestos in buildings, supervision and management of asbestos remediation and abatement works, as well as extensive experience in asbestos fibre air monitoring and clearance inspections of friable and non-friable asbestos. Trent has been involved as a project member in the completion of asbestos and hazardous building materials surveys in various states throughout Australia. Audit programs that Trent has worked on range from sensitive sites such as hospitals to large manufacturing facilities, local councils and schools.
